Six art objects created to highlight Microsoft’s emergent technological initiatives for UNGA 2024 and IGNITE 2024. Inspired in name by perpetual motion machines — hypothetical machines that can work indefinitely without an external energy source, they embody the spirit of magician Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin’s orange tree in their use of technology to conjure awe for an audience.
